Royal Collectibles is a family owned and operated comic shop established in 1992. We currently carry a large selection of comic books (Silver Age to Modern), graphic novels, toys, statues and so much more. We offer a pull list service for comic collectors, comic grading services, and we also buy and trade vintage comics and collectibles.
We also carry sports memorabilia, wrestling collectibles, celebrity autographs, and gaming cards. In 2015 we had an opportunity to expand so we opened a second location on Metropolitan Avenue, only a few doors down, and we split our inventory into the two stores. Royal Sports & Entertainment is now located at 96-11 Metropolitan Avenue and carries all of our sports memorabilia, wrestling toys and collectibles as well as gaming cards such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic the Gathering. Check out their facebook and yelp pages here: https://www.facebook.com/royalsportsnyc/
The additional storefront has allowed us to focus on organizing and displaying our products better and (we hope) make it easier for our customers to shop for the products they are looking for!
We also attend local conventions (Eternal Con, Winter Con, Big Apple Con) with a little taste of the items we carry at our shop and we have been setting up at New York Comic Con every year since its inception – if you’re going this year come check us out at Booth 2922!
Finally, we try to host events throughout the year including artist/creator signings. Some guests we’ve hosted in the past include Neal Adams, Paul Azaceta, Cory Smith, Rebekah Isaacs, Robbi Rodriguez, Dave Fox, and David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne from Fox’s Gotham TV Show)! We’ve also hosted WWE legends such as Jake the Snake, Brutus “the Barber” Beefcake, Mick Foley, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Jeff & Matt Hardy, and more! Keep an eye on our Events page to see who we’ll have next!
We try our best to offer a personal touch at our shop – whether it be via advising collectors on purchasing/selling, recommending a new comic to read, or introducing the world of comic books to new readers with the knowledge we’ve accumulated over the years. And we hope our survival in the rough and tumble business of collectibles is a testament to our honesty and integrity.
