Join us on Saturday, September 10th from 12pm to 5pm for our annual Makers Faire! Ten+ local vendors will be set up in our parking lot selling their custom items! From home goods to original art to food, there will be lots of unique items to peruse and great opportunities to support local creators!
September 10th is also Community Day in Forest Hills which means any participating businesses on Metropolitan Avenue will also have special events/sales going on. So while you’re here you can stroll down Metropolitan Avenue and see what else the neighborhood will be offering!
We will also be donating 5% of the day’s sales to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (bincfoundation.org) – an organization that helps local comic and book stores with financial assistance when they are in need due to unforeseen emergencies. So every dollar spent with us on Wednesday will not only support YOUR local comic shop, but local comic shops in need across the country!

Our Black Friday sales include: double stamps on trade paperback punchcards, 60% off modern back issues (from the red/blue/black sections in back room), and Buy 2, Get 1 Free on all action figures and Funko Pops (of equal or lesser value).
Saturday 11/27 (Small Business Saturday) – 12pm to 7pm
The same sales from Friday will still be in effect!
Our current hours for in-store shopping are as follows:
Wednesday: 10am to 6pm
Thursday-Sunday: 12pm to 6pm
Masks are required for entry and hand sanitizer is provided for use.
We are limiting in-store shopping to 5 people at a time to help our customers practice social distancing. We also encourage everyone to please be mindful of quicker browsing if a line is building outside our shop for entry. On busy days we recommend aiming for 15 minutes browsing time per person/party.
We want a safe and fair browsing experience for everyone!
Curbside pick-up options are still in effect and if you’d like to arrange an order for pick-up, please reach out to us.
And please remember if you arrive at our shop and there is a line to get in but you just want to pick-up (no browsing) you can come to the door and see one of us to get your order processed right away. No need to wait in line if you’re just picking up.

In compliance with Phase 1 of the Reopening of NYC, we are now able to offer pick-ups again! To pick up any purchases, please come to our front door and we will bring your items to you at the door. If a line develops, please take note of the floor markings outside the store to encourage social distancing while waiting on line. Alternatively, you can call us at 718-793-0542 option 4 if you would like to remain in your car and we can run your pre-paid items to you.

We are so glad to be able to offer pick-ups again and hopefully in a few weeks we will be eligible for Phase 2 which would allow limited in-store browsing and shopping.

We are currently closed for walk-in and curbside delivery, but if you would like to place a mail order please contact us at email@example.com! We can ship anything in stock – single comics, trade paperbacks or graphic novels, action figures, funko pops, statues and more!
In light of the efforts we must all take to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, we are limiting in-store shopping and enacting the following alternative options for pull lists and other purchases:
1. Curbside Pick-Up – call or e-mail us to finalize your order, pay in advance (credit card/Paypal/Venmo) and then let us know when you’re here and we will bring your order to you outside.
2. Shipping – we can ship all pull list orders or orders for any items (except storage supplies like comic boxes, etc). Shipping will be free for any purchases of $50 or more. $4 for purchases under $50.
If you’re feeling sick or think you may have been in contact with anyone who is, please stay home. We will hold your comics until this passes. Things are changing so quickly that it is hard to say how long we will have to operate like this. We’re taking things day-to-day. For those of you that feel so inclined, we are also offering 20% off store gift cards. You can purchase over the phone or via e-mail and we can either hold them for you or ship them to you in an effort to help with cash-flow during these weeks ahead. The gift cards never expire or depreciate. We wish we could work from home, but that is not an option in a retail business.
